Permission for Use

Permission to use the University of South Carolina's athletic and spirit symbols must be approved through the university's Office of Trademarks and Licensing.

Private vendors wishing to use these logos on salable merchandise must contact Collegiate Licensing for rights and terms of use.

Gamecock and Block C

The Gamecock is the symbol for University of South Carolina athletics and is normally used as a spirit logo in material related to student activities and athletic teams and events. The Gamecock may appear separately or be combined with the traditional Block C.

Cocky

Cocky is the university's mascot and is used as a spirit logo in material related to student activities and athletic teams and events.
