Habersham is on the water just eight minutes from historic downtown Beaufort, SC, within 30 minutes of Hilton Head Island, SC and just hour from Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA.  The designers worked with environmental groups, real-estate agents, and governmental agencies to gather information to meet the needs of the market yet preserve the inherent beauty the land has to offer. With extensive tree surveys, wetland preservation and marsh buffers, they have created a place that is as sensitive to the environment as it is to the human scale. Their intent is to create a place of sustainable character and charm, a place that protects the present while preserving the values for future generations to come.

Schools Lighting Grant Initiative

The Schools Initiative makes grants of up to $75,000 available to SC's 28 most financially challenged districts- those ranking lowest in "wealth per pupil" or "required local support" as defined by the State Department of Education.

The grants will provide funding for projects that install energy efficient lighting and bring illumination levels into compliance with the SC School Facilities Planning and Construction Guide.
