Research and Teaching Interests

The overarching goal of Diane Ehlers research is to improve individuals’ health and quality of life through participation in physical activity. Diane’s research includes examination of relationships among physical activity, cognitive and physical function, psychosocial states (self-efficacy, self-esteem), and quality of life in aging adults and cancer patients and survivors. She is particularly interested in the effects of the interaction between aging and cancer on cognitive function and quality of life in cancer survivors.
