Areas of Research
Here at the Cancer Prevention and Control Program, we are leaders in innovative investigation within the cancer research community. Our students, faculty and staff conceive, head and collaborate on studies spanning a wide variety of subjects, including better prevention and detection of cancer, determining cancer's genetic, environmental and behavioral risk factors, analyzing cancer trends and their underlying causes, ways to improve communication between public health professionals and the community, and research into survivor care and support networks.
