USC’s clinical programs provide students with the skills needed to manage individual and community health care, implement research findings through translational research and evidence-based practice, innovate the practice of nursing and influence health care policy.                                 

The Ph.D. prepares students to generate nursing research and function as nurse scientists and academics.
