Hannah Watts is the IPM Curriculum Coordinator at the USC School of Medicine Greenville. In her role, she provides support for all IPM faculty in areas of curriculum, assessment, and development throughout the 4 year curriculum. She also works with clinical and BMS faculty at the school to plan and implement OSCEs in years 1 and 2. In addition to her IPM responsibilities, she also supports the Lifestyle Medicine Task Force as well as policy and procedure creation and documentation in the BMS department.
Prior to joining the USC School of Medicine, she worked at Clemson University for Student Health Services where she served as the Assistant Director of Healthy Campus.
Hannah holds a Bachelors of Arts in Communication Studies with an emphasis in health and culture from Clemson University. She also holds a Masters of Arts in Communication with an emphasis in health and culture. Her Master’s thesis, Patient-Provider Interaction: Person Centered Approaches to Patient Diversity and Evidence for Training, explored provider experiences of health and culture in their patient interactions.
Hannah has the unique opportunity to view medical school from both a faculty/staff and a student perspective. Her husband, Reed, is currently a medical student at another institution.
