Background

Dr. Campbell joined the faculty of University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2015 as Director of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Campbell completed his medical education at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. After residency and an MFM fellowship, Dr. Campbell accepted a position at the University of Kentucky in 1991. He served as Director of Genetics & Prenatal Diagnosis and as Director of Obstetrics Outreach Clinical Services in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Campbell ultimately served as the John Greene Professor and Chairman and Director of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Kentucky. After serving in these roles at the University of Kentucky, he served as Director of Central Kentucky High Risk Obstetrics/Kentucky One High Risk Obstetrics where he served from 2002-2015. Dr. Campbell's special interests include prenatal genetics and diagnostic testing, as well as management of diabetes in pregnancy.
