Continuing Education

We offer ongoing continuing education opportunities in cooperation with other providers throughout the state and region. Our workshops allow professionals to stay up-to-date on trends and knowledge of the profession.

Make/Break Deadline for On-campus Workshops

Make/Break Deadline is two weeks prior to the workshop date. If sufficient registration has not been received by that date, the workshop will be canceled.

If the workshop has made by the make/break deadline, we will continue to accept registration until two working days before the event or until maximum registration is reached. In fairness to presenters, this policy will be strictly followed. Please register early.

Online workshops will be available only during the time frame specified. You may view the workshops more than once.

Refund Policy

We will refund registration fees received for programs only under the following conditions:

  1. We are notified of cancellation five working days in advance of the program,
  2. Participant is ill and notifies us by the day before the program, or
  3. We cancel the program.

Parking for On-campus Workshops

Metered parking is available in the Pendleton Street Garage on levels 1A, 1B, and 2A. There are two-hour and five-hour meters.

On Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., you can purchase a meter permit card for the two-hour or five-hour meters. These are available in the Parking Office, which is located on level 1A of the garage, facing Pendleton Street. This office is not open on Saturdays. Plan to arrive before 9 a.m. to ensure a space in the garage.

Please note that meters located on the surrounding streets are controlled by the City of Columbia.

A map of the Columbia campus can be found here: USC Map.
