Charleston Field Trip

The optional Charleston Trip will include a visit to Wild Dunes to view the property at issue in Lucas and explore other nearby locations that provide interesting and tangible examples of legal issues associated with coastal development.

Participants who travel to Wild Dunes on their own will join the group transportation participants at:

Link's Club House
10001 Back Bay Drive
Isle of Palms, SC 29451

There should be ample parking surrounding the Club House for attendees.

The panelists will examine the legal issues associated with coastal development and the specific examples of those issues present at Wild Dunes. Additionally, the panel will feature a tour of the Wild Dunes property, and a question and answer session about the property specifics.

Participants will gather for a reception at the beach home of The Honorable Jean Hoefer Toal, former Chief Justice of the South Carolina Supreme Court.
