Do Your Best
College is a time to take advantage of every learning opportunity that comes your way. Supplemental Instruction and tutoring can help you make the transition from high school to college with more ease. The university offers a variety of services to help you succeed and we encourage you to explore.
The Supplemental Instruction (SI) program provides peer-facilitated study sessions led by qualified and trained undergraduate SI leaders who attend classes with undergraduate students and encourage undergraduate students to practice and discuss course concepts in sessions. These sessions can help improve your understanding of the material you're learning and give your grade point average a boost.
Qualified students can serve as SI leaders. If you're one of those students, you'll also develop valuable leadership skills as you empower other students. You can apply to the Student Success Center or be nominated by a peer or faculty member. At this time, more than 150 students serve as SI leaders.
