Coastal Research

Undergraduate

As an undergraduate in the College of Arts and Science, you'll have opportunities you wouldn't have at a smaller school. Whether you enter the workforce or go on to graduate school, participating in research now will give you valuable insight and hands-on experience in your field before you graduate. We hope you'll explore everything we have to offer.

Mentoring

Our award-winning faculty is active in research. They're also devoted to students and invested in their success. Not every school offers undergraduate students the chance to engage in research, but because of our size, we can and do. One-on-one mentoring from respected researchers is part of that experience.

If you choose to seek out research projects as an undergraduate, you'll gain invaluable experience in your field and give yourself an advantage when it's time to apply to graduate school or begin your career.

Projects and Research

Our undergraduate students have the opportunity to work on projects in many different fields. For more specific research opportunities, explore your department or program website.
