  NIH National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN) (U54)RFA-RM-13-017

The purpose of this Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) is to encourage organizations with experience in the mentorship of individuals from diverse backgrounds as they pursue careers in biomedical research to submit grant applications for the NIH National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN). The NRMN will be a nationwide consortium to enhance the training and career development of individuals from diverse backgrounds who are pursuing biomedical, behavioral, clinical, and social science research careers (collectively termed biomedical research careers), through enhanced networking and mentorship experiences

USC may only submit one application in response to this program announcement. Your application submission MUST be coordinated with the Office of the Vice President for Research. Please send a two page abstract via email to Richard White ( by January 27, 2014. In addition to the 2-page abstract, you should also submit a biosketch for the PI.

NIH indicates that a letter of intent is due on February 18, 2014 and a full proposal is due by March 18, 2014 . For more information:
