  Mary Kay Foundation: Cancer Research Grant Program

The Mary Kay Foundation, a funding source for cancer research, is currently accepting applications for innovative grants for translational research in ovarian, uterine, breast, or cervical cancer. The Mary Kay Foundation seeks to fund innovative research that will provide a scientific link between laboratory research and the clinic. Ultimately, such research would lead to improvement in the diagnosis, prognosis, prevention or treatment of cancer.

Approximately 10 to 15 awards are given annually.

The maximum $100,000 award includes direct and indirect costs. (Indirect costs may not exceed 15 percent).

United States citizenship is not required.


USC may only submit one application in response to this program announcement. Please email a brief (2 page) research plan and CVs of key personnel to Beth Herron at ( noon on December 20, 2013.

The Mary Kay Foundation indicates that a letter of intent is NOT applicable and that a full proposal is due by February 3, 2014.
