ARRA Reporting Information

USC trains for ARRA reporting

A September 17, 2009 training session on (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act) ARRA reporting attracted 30 Principal Investigators and Designated Division/College Budget Officers according to Derlene Lowder, USC ARRA Reporting Coordinator. Contract & Grant Accounting, Sponsored Award Management (SAM), and the Vice President for Finance and Planning sponsored the session to establish participants’ access to the ARRA reporting system and provide them an overview of the specific data elements they will be responsible for entering into the system.

A powerpoint presentation from the session is available here.

Additional information will be provided on internal reporting deadlines for the project data required in meeting the federal quarterly reporting deadlines (October 10, January 10, April 10, July 10) associated with accepting ARRA funding and ensuring transparency and accountability of taxpayer dollars. In the interim, please contact Derlene Lowder (Lowderd@mailbox.sc.edu) if you have questions or concerns.

Quarterly Reporting Requirements for NIH “stimulus’ awards

The National Institutes of Health has provided Information on Quarterly Reporting Requirements for NIH recipients of awards funded from the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act of 2009 here.

Recipient Reporting re: ARRA (“Stimulus”) Funded Awards

Recipients of Federal ARRA (“Stimulus”) awards must comply with reporting requirements (outlined in Section 1512 of the Act), which include reporting on sub-recipient (sub-grantee and sub-contractor) activities. The required reports must be submitted by recipients beginning in October 2009.  SAM will notify principal investigators on Stimulus awards of specific reporting responsibilities and provide guidance for complying with reporting requirements (although most reporting will be handled by USC administrative offices, some information only can be obtained from principal investigators.) OMB offers Additional ARRA (“Stimulus”) Guidance/Webinars
