The Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost is the chief academic officer of the University of South Carolina, acting for the President in his absence.

Candidates for Provost will present to the University community on June 16th
Three internal candidates for Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost will make public presentations to the University of South Carolina faculty, staff and students on Tuesday,
June 16, 2009 on the Columbia campus.
Video conferencing will be available on the following campuses: Aiken, Beaufort, Lancaster, Salkehatchie, Sumter, Union and Upstate. Information regarding these conferences will be posted at www.sc.edu/provost/searches.

All presentations will be held in Lumpkin Auditorium (Daniel-Mickel Center) on the 8th floor of the Moore School of Business on the Columbia campus.
