**THE PROVOST SEARCH COMMITTEE WILL BEGIN CONDUCTING INTERVIEWS JUNE 1, 2009.**
Applications and nominations will be accepted until a successful candidate has been selected.
The University of South Carolina invites applications and nominations for internal candidates for the position of Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost.
The Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost is the chief academic officer of the University of South Carolina, acting for the President in his absence.

Candidates should submit a letter of application containing a brief statement of experience in academic leadership, administrative experience, and educational philosophy, along with a curriculum vitae and at least three references.
