NOAA Hollings Scholarship

Supports eligible undergraduates studying oceanic, environmental, biological, and atmospheric sciences, mathematics, engineering, remote sensing technology, physical and social sciences including geography, physics, hydrology, geomatics, or teacher education that support NOAA's programs and mission.

Nancy Foster Scholarship Program
Open to those currently pursuing or intending to pursue a masters or doctoral level degree in oceanography, marine biology, or maritime archaeology, including the curation, preservation, and display of maritime artifacts. 12-month stipend for each student of $30,000 and an annual cost-of-education allowance of up to $12,000 and up to $10,000 support for a four to six week research collaboration at a NOAA facility. Masters students may be supported for up to two years, and doctoral students for up to four years.

Udall Scholarship
Awards given to undergraduate students in three categories: those with a demonstrated commitment to careers related to the environment; and Native American and Alaska Native students with a demonstrated commitment to careers related to tribal public policy or to Native health care. Up to $5000 for tuition, room, board or other educational expenses, and attendance at 4-day annual Udall Scholar Orientation in Tuscon AZ.
