Debriefing could possibly be the most important aspect of the simulation experience. All debriefing materials are held in strict confidentiality allowing open and frank discussions between faculty and students. Faculty members are encouraged to meet with the lab director to discuss a variety of debriefing techniques designed to enhance critical thinking about the simulation experience that minimizes embarrassing a student(s) performance.
The debrief room is located in room 119. It houses a circular table with seating for as many as 8. There is a 42" Flat Screen TV to review simulation scenarios. There is an ability to bring in power point slides or other audio/visual material for viewing in this room. Once inside the debrief room, faculty and students can join a session that has been previously recorded in one of our simulation rooms. |
