Perhaps you read it to stay connected to the university and the latest USC news or maybe you read it to keep up with your classmates. Well, one thing you will notice is a new look in your mailbox this week if you’re a My Carolina Alumni Association member or have made a recent contribution to the university. Carolinian magazine is hot off the press with a fresh look and some new features and we’ve already heard from some of you who have noticed the new look.

While the Carolinian name dates back to the early 1920s when it was a student-written publication, it wasn’t until much later that Carolinian was published as a magazine. What year was the first Carolinian magazine published? Hint: The current issue is the 54th that’s been produced since the launch.
