Dolley Madison Digital Edition

Dolley Payne Madison was the most important First Lady of the nineteenth century. The DMDE will be the first-ever complete edition of all of her known correspondence. It is currently complete through April 1837, with a total of 964 documents.

African-American Biographical Dictionary

African-American Biographical Database (AABD) brings together biographies, rare books, and historical information on thousands of African-Americans. These biographical sketches (including photographs and illustrations) have been assembled from Chadwyck-Healey’s acclaimed Black Biographical Dictionaries 1790-1950. Biographical portraits from newly uncovered dictionaries as well as from other published reference sources, obituary files, slave narrative collections, internet sites, etc. will be added as the database expands.

Index to Legal Periodicals Retrospective

This retrospective database indexes over 750 legal periodicals published in the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. Annual surveys of the laws of a jurisdiction, annual surveys of the federal courts, yearbooks, annual institutes, and annual reviews of the work in a given field or on a given topic will also be covered.

SciFinder Web

SciFinder Web allows you to access the full Chemical Abstracts database with citations to the literature of chemistry and patents, as well as compound information including structure, chemical names, formulas, Registry Numbers and reaction information for organic and organometallic reactions - plus substructure and reaction searching from a web browser.  Current USC Columbia faculty and students must register using their university email address to search the database.

DRAM

DRAM is a not-for-profit resource providing educational communities with on-demand streaming access to CD-quality audio (192kbps Mp4), complete original liner notes and essays from independent record labels and sound archives. Currently DRAM’s collection contains nearly 2,000 albums (15,000 compositions) worth of recordings from a distinctive set of 15 independent labels.
