The trial to Oceana Law Online consists of two of their databases:

Constitutions of the Countries of the World Online offers access to 187 country constitutions with  commentary from leading scholars worldwide. There are original English translations, plus the ability to search for topics across all nations

Constitutions of Dependencies and Territories Online has English translations and commentary on the constitutions of 40 countries and their 170 dependencies and territories, as well as the federal constitutional provisions that define the relationship between a state and its dependencies or territories.

The  Armed Conflict Database, is a frequently updated source of information on armed conflicts worldwide. You can generate reports and download data as well as browse through the yearly analyses.    The database is published by the International Institute for Strategic Studies  (IISS)

This trial is for two H.W. Wilson products,  Biography Index and Biography Reference Bank.

Biography Index cites biographical articles appearing in more than 3,000 periodicals indexed in other Wilson databases, plus select other titles. Local and Regional History Online is continually updated with more and more titles, and will grow to include more than 500,000 pages and 1 million images. Currently, the collection contains approximately 100,000 pages and 175,000 images, all indexed to allow for easy browsing and searching across contents.

The library has set up a trial to Black Newspapers which is part of the ProQuest Historical Newspapers product.    The trial is for the entire collection of Black Newspapers.

ProQuest Digital Microfilm provides scanned newspapers in microfilm, accessible around the clock via an intuitive, easy to use, online interface. Researchers can access full-page, cover-to-cover newspaper content from anywhere an internet connection is present. Digital Microfilm allows multiple, simultaneous users from subscribing libraries to scroll through the scanned microfilm as they would with standard microfilm equipment, or they can access the content using metadata: newspaper title, date, and page numbers. Digital Microfilm also allows users to print, crop, email, or save images for later reference. Additionally, Digital Microfilm offers two image resolutions: lower resolution for quick scrolling and navigation, and a higher resolution to make the most of charts and photographs.

 HAPI is a database designed to help identify measurement tests used in health, psychosocial sciences, organizational behavior, and library and information science; provides sources, abstract, and reviewer(s) when applicable. Contains citations from the early 1900s to the present.

USC has subscribed to this database for many years.   The purpose of this trial is to examine the possibility of switching  from the current OVID platform/interface to an EBSCO platform/interface.
