Jessica Johnston currently serves as Director of Healthy Carolina. In this role she is responsible for development and oversight of the mission and vision of Healthy Carolina to develop a culture of health for faculty, staff and students through healthy community initiatives, research and policy implementation. Jessica received her bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and master's degree in Health Promotion Education and Behavior from the Arnold School of Public Health both at the University of South Carolina. She is Well Workplace certified through the Wellness Councils of America and is a certified personal trainer through American Fitness Professionals Association. In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with family and friends, music, walking and spending time outdoors. |

Alissa Thebarge currently serves as Program Coordinator of Healthy Carolina. In this role, Alissa is responsible for working to plan and coordinate the many services and programs that Healthy Carolina offers to the USC community. Alissa received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine at Farmington in Community Health Education and her master’s degree in Health Promotion Education and Behavior from the Arnold School of Public Health at the University of South Carolina. In her free time, Alissa enjoys traveling, practicing yoga, and keeping active and spending time outdoors. |

Charley Martin currently serves as a Graduate Assistant for Healthy Carolina. Among other things, Charley is responsible for coordinating the Healthy Carolina Farmers Market. Charley received her bachelor’s degree from James Madison University in Psychology. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Public Health in Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior from the Arnold School of Public Health at the University of South Carolina. In her free time, Charley enjoys cycling and doing anything outdoors. |

Danielle Gentile currently serves as a Graduate Assistant for Healthy Carolina. She works with the Healthy Carolina Living Learning Community among other initiatives to promote wellness on campus. She is from upstate New York, and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Health Science from the State University of New York, Brockport. She is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior from the Arnold School of Public Health at the University of South Carolina. Danielle enjoys gardening, cooking, group exercise classes, and exploring the outdoors. |
