James and Kimberley Rennick started this as a way to make money for their family, while still being with their family. Often their kids, James' dad, and other relatives can be found helping to make and sell kettlecorn. They wanted to have a product that was family friendly and affordable for large groups. James discovered kettlecorn when in school in Illinois, where he talked to people and researched it and finally got the equipment and went into business. They can be found at the zoo, the All Local Market, Irmo High football games, and different fundraisers throughout SC.
James reports that, “Its fun; we like meeting people and making people happy. Most people are happy after they try our kettle corn. When they come back its fun to see them especially when you see the same people again and again, you start building a relationship with them.”
He adds that “Our kettle corn is Santa Claus approved.” Santa told him personally that it was the best kettle corn he ever had and that he’s been all over the world, and it is the best.
