Types of Financial Aid 
 
There are three broad categories of financial aid :
  • Scholarships and Grants are awarded on the basis of either superior academic merit, financial need, or both.
  • Loans must be repaid, but generally with favorable interest rates and generous deferment provisions.
  • Work Programs provide either on-campus or close-to-campus jobs and provide much needed spending money.
