The FWS Program provides funds for part-time jobs, which allow
students to earn money needed to pay for educational expenses.
Work-Study earnings are not limited by semester the way other aid
programs are; therefore, if you are awarded, you may work at a pace
agreed upon by you and your supervisor. However, because FWS is
federal financial aid, your total earnings for the academic year or
summer session may not exceed the total amount shown on your award
letter.
If you receive a Work-Study award, you will be eligible to apply for
a variety of positions both on and off campus. You, however, are
responsible for finding your own work-study job. You are encouraged
to find a position that provides you with work experience in your
field of study or provides valuable service to the community. An
up-to-date listing of available Work-Study jobs is posted on our web page.
