FAFSA Application Deadline
The annual priority deadline for receipt of a complete FAFSA in our office is April 1. This means that your FAFSA should be received and completed by this date to be considered for financial aid resources USC Columbia can offer. A complete FAFSA status means that you have completed and turned in all documentation that we may have requested, and your FAFSA status shows as complete on SSC. You can check your eligibility requirements on SSC by choosing Financial Aid and selecting Eligibility.
Your Results: The results of your FAFSA on the web will be sent directly to our office in approximately 7-10 business days if you list USC Columbia as one of your schools.
Don't Miss Out!: In order to meet the April 1 priority deadline, we strongly encourage you to complete your FAFSA no later than late February or early March.
Completing After the Priority Deadline: If you complete your FAFSA application after the priority deadline, you will still be eligible to receive Pell Grant and Direct Loan funds for which you qualify. Meeting the priority deadline, however, assures your consideration for all of the aid program funding we have available.
