Curricular Role of the School Librarian

Please register for this course no later than Aug. 14, 2014. SLIS 742 requires collaboration with a practicing teacher and access to that teacher's school library. Both must be secured before the semester begins.
Course Delivery Type: Over 50% Web Delivery: A Web course is taught using one or more web delivery platforms such as Blackboard, Streaming Video, Adobe Connect etc.
Students must have access to a high-speed Internet connection. More information will be provided by the instructor in the course syllabus.

Graduate Bulletin Course Description: Role of the school library media specialist in integrating the school library media program into a K-12 standards-based curriculum, including best practices, needs assessment, collaboration, instructional design, and resource provision.
Prerequisites: SLIS 701, 706 and required education courses (for initial certification candidates); SLIS 703 preferred
