The South Carolina Scholastic Press Association promotes responsible scholastic journalism in South Carolina. We educate, evaluate and empower students and advisers who work with middle and high school broadcast, literary magazine, newspaper, online and yearbook programs in the state.

Though the fall conference was canceled, awards were still presented online and certificates and plaques will be mailed to publications.

SCSPA names Olivia Potter Journalist of the Year

Potter is from Wando High School in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, and is currently one of three co-editors-in-chief of the Legend yearbook.
