The Cancer Research Center of the University of South Carolina is a network of researchers who are dedicated to the discovery of new and novel strategies for the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cancer. A diverse group of scientists, CCUSC researchers hope to apply their knowledge of cancer and its progression to the population, thereby more effectively preventing the disease in those at risk and more successfully treating the disease in those afflicted by it.

 

CCUSC comprises four independent and highly interactive cancer centers pursuing different, yet related, research programs:
