Regional Admissions Representative for Atlanta, GA
Hometown: Chicago, IL
I was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to the New York City area while in high school. I earned my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the State University of New York at Buffalo and I have lived in State College, Pennsylvania and Oxford, Ohio before moving to Atlanta in 2001. Previous to joining the University of South Carolina as a Regional Admissions Associate, I was Senior Associate Director of Admission at Miami University in Ohio, and Director of Undergraduate Admissions for Georgia State University. My son, daughter-in-law and two-year-old granddaughter currently live in Chicago and so it is now my favorite vacation spot in the United States. I enjoy traveling, and have been to Europe several times and recently visited China. I also enjoy cooking and listening to all kinds of music, especially jazz.
My advice for those embarking on the college search process is to start early and cast a wide net before you gradually narrow the field. Be open to schools of various sizes in various places, each offering interesting and new experiences. It is only then that you will be able to say you made the best possible choice.
