The Palmetto College Online Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice is issued by USC Upstate, one of USC's senior campuses.
Criminal justice majors complete a course of study that includes the study of crime, offenders, courts, policing, corrections, and victims. The program is designed to provide students with the background necessary for a criminal justice career, graduate school or law school.
- Learn to think on their feet
- Develop critical thinking skills
- Understand ethics as it applies to the law
- Learn the basic tenets of the U.S. Justice System
- Prepare concise written arguments
This is a liberal arts degree that provides an academic examination of crime and the
criminal justice system, not a police academy or technical training school. Students
interested in forensic science should pursue a degree in the sciences instead.
