The Division of Information Technology will implement a scheduled restart on SLA computers and non PCI VDIs each Monday at 2:00 AM. Users will be allowed up to one hour to save their work and restart their computer. If no action is taken the computer will automatically restart after the one hour countdown. Please be sure to save any open documents before you leave the office on Friday, as they will not be saved after the restart.

An unplanned outage to a critical system.

Issues have been reported with the Shibboleth authentication application. Internet Explorer and Edge browsers are taking over 30 seconds to display the Shibboleth login page. Firefox and Chrome do not appear to be affected. The issue appears to be related to recent Microsoft security updates.

Carolina Card will be patched at 6 a.m. and Millennium (Development Office) at 8 a.m. The servers will be restarted following the patch installation and should be available for users no later than 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. respectively.

Datawarehouse refresh issues occurred this morning. Datawarehouse refresh appeared to have completed successfully but data isn t accurate. Technicians are working on the issue.

  • Aug 10, 2017 @ 10:02 am: The ODS will be refreshed to try and resolve the issues.
  • Aug 10, 2017 @ 2:51 pm: Streams will be restarted at 6 a.m. on Friday, August 11, during the planned Banner outage. The ODS will then be restaged and refreshed.
  • Aug 11, 2017 @ 8:38 am: Streams has successfully been re-synced and the restage is in progress.
  • Aug 11, 2017 @ 12:26 pm: The ODS has been successfully restaged. Streams is running as expected. The baseline AR and General Data loads have completed successfully. Student data loads are in progress.
