Drive the future of data and design
From health apps to Google maps, data and design continue to touch nearly all aspects of our lives. The ability to work within both arenas is critical to understanding, shaping and driving the future of industries—from gaming, retail and transportation to any product or service using virtual and mobile technology.
Beyond the mainframe
As a Rhodos Fellow, you'll be positioned to take on these challenges by becoming part of an interdisciplinary living and learning community that brings together driven designers, strategic communicators, industrious engineers and talented artists.
This community will put you among the next generation of dynamic problem-solvers at a top patent-producing and top-tier Carnegie Foundation research institution.
Becoming a Rhodos Fellow
As a Rhodos Fellow, your learning will extend way beyond the classroom. The faculty principal and faculty members active in the industry and working across multiple disciplines will organize and lead research projects, community service programs, and leadership and social events specifically designed around information and computing. They'll also connect you with local data and design firms for internships, co-ops and future employment opportunities. Plus, you can participate in study abroad trips focusing on your area of interest.
How to apply
Admission into Rhodos Fellows is selective to ensure the most focused and dedicated students are participating. To be considered, you must complete the Rhodos Fellows Supplemental Application when you apply for University Housing. Note that applying for University Housing is contingent upon being admitted as a fall freshman student. You must first pay your nonrefundable $200 enrollment deposit before you can access the housing application.
Your Rhodos Fellows application is due no later than 11:59 p.m. EST on May 1.
