The terms during which each scholarship is available are listed along with the scholarship names. Please note that scholarships listed as available for semester programs likely can be used for academic year programs as well.

Addison Family Study Abroad Fund (Maymester, summer)

Eligibility: The Addison Family Study Abroad Fund supports Darla Moore School of Business students who are in the process of applying or who have already applied to a Maymester/ Summer study abroad program, with a preference towards students from South Carolina. Applicants must also be full time, undergraduate USC students in good academic standing.

Ceny Walker Undergraduate Fellowship Award (semester, summer)

Walker Institute of International and Area Studies

Eligibility: The Walker Institute awards exceptionally well qualified undergraduate students with well formed programs for overseas study and research

Dobson Volunteer Service Program (semester, Maymester, summer)

Eligibility: The Dobson Volunteer Service Program at the University of South Carolina provides funding support for students, faculty and staff members to engage in direct service activities, both locally and abroad. Emphasis is placed on depth of service commitment, and the impact it might have on individual spiritual development through the service experience.
Field of Study: All majors are welcome to apply.
GPA: n/a
Awards: The program underwrites up to 50 percent of approved expenses for individuals and groups. Applicants must agree to provide on their return a personal reflection document and ten presentations sharing information about their experiences as a Dobson participant.

Freeman Scholars Award (Maymester)

Eligibility: The Freeman Scholars Award supports Darla Moore School of Business students who are in the process of applying or who have already applied to the business Maymester in Japan (IBUS 490J). Applicants must also be full time, undergraduate USC students in good academic standing.

I Want Moore Scholarship (Maymester)

Eligibility: The I Want Moore Scholarship supports Darla Moore School of Business students who are in the process of applying or who have already applied to a Maymester study abroad experience. This scholarship opportunity seeks to assist business students involved in international education, specifically the faculty-led programs offered through the Moore School of Business.  Students will be selected based on demonstrated merit in the classroom, financial need, and compelling essays.  Preference will be given to students from South Carolina. Applicants must also be full time, undergraduate USC student in good academic standing.
