My Magellan Story

The Magellan Scholar program was initiated in 2005 to enrich undergraduate students’ academic experiences with research in every discipline from science and math to music and art. These are just a few of the many stories of discovery that have been, and will be written thanks to Magellan.

Dance major Tevfik Vatansever used his Magellan Scholar award to travel to Istanbul, Turkey and compete in the Instanbul International Ballet Competition in the summer of 2014.
