Dr. Joseph Rackers, School of Music professor and Carolina Core Committee faculty chair, spoke about what we are seeing with student learning as the Carolina Core curriculum matures. Nicole Spensley, Director of Assessment, Office of Institutional Research and Assessment, reviewed teaching and advising in the Core, identifying appropriate assignments for assessment in the Core, and how to use Core student data to improve learning.
