Partner With Us

The Office of New Student Orientation provides collaborative programs that facilitate the transition and engagement of new undergraduate students and their families to the intellectual, cultural and social environment at the University of South Carolina. 

Over the past year, we have served approximately 7,400 incoming students and 5,000 parents and guests during the orientation program. For many students, orientation is their first on-campus experience as a new member of the Carolina community.

With your collaboration, we aim to make their orientation experience a memorable one.

Partner Terms and Conditions

All payments must be received by April 3, 2017.
Any delay in payment may preclude your business from any and all partnership opportunities. Any legal fees associated with obtaining past due fees will be paid by the business/partner.

All advertising must be approved by the Director of New Student Orientation.
All opportunities are first come, first served. The Office of New Student Orientation and the University of South Carolina have the right to exclude the participation of businesses that do not align with our educational and service mission. We also have the right to reject any ads or PowerPoint slides that are of poor quality or design, as determined by our office.

The intent of your business to participate in the Resource Fair must be communicated to the Office of New Student Orientation by April 3, 2017.
This is only available in the Carolina- and Cocky-level packages. Any unplanned absence at the Resource Fair must be communicated to the Office of New Student Orientation as soon as possible. Failure to do so will result in your removal from the fair. Two absences in the Resource Fair will result in removal from the fair. Customized promotional opportunities will be approved at our discretion.

It is the partner's responsibility to provide the Office of New Student Orientation with any and all information necessary for various partnership levels by April 3, 2017.
No fees will be returned for failure to meet any and all of the terms and conditions listed.

The partner agrees to document any special opportunities or agreements made and obtain signatures from the Director of New Student Orientation and partnering business owner.

The partner must agree to provide accurate and ethical communication of all relevant services to new students and families.

As a partner with the Office of New Student Orientation, the business must agree to assist students and families with their transition into the Carolina Community through the promotion of goods and services that are relevant, realistic and necessary for a student’s first year.
