Dive into the world of physics by studying matter and its motion through space and time, along with related concepts such as energy and force. You will learn to apply physics to the real world in hands on activities and experiments and see that it’s not just equations written in a textbook—but laws of nature that we can observe, prove and manipulate. Based on time and weather conditions for the day, activities and topics may include discovering how a solar pizza oven works, how gravity and speed affect a roller coaster and cars, Newton’s first Law, air resistance, the conservation of energy and friction and lubricants. Join us for a fun day of discovering how physics is used!
