Adventures in Graphic/Digital Design

Ever wonder how they made the logo for the Gamecocks, USC or for your favorite company? Create original graphic design pieces with edge and impact using the industry standard tools in the Adobe Creative Suite. Develop images, typography and logos for posters, movies, games and album art. Gain knowledge and skills in digital design while studying color, composition and presentation.  An expert from the University of South Carolina will teach you how to design and transform your ideas into a finished portfolio full of your projects.

Meet Your Instructor

Gloria Washington

Gloria is an online curriculum designer for the Center for Teaching Excellence at the University of South Carolina. She has knowledge and experience with designing graphics and classes through working with Blackboard, InDesign, and Adobe Suite. This is third time she has taught this course for Carolina Master Scholars Adventure Series at the University of South Carolina. She also teaches our  "Cartoon U" course during the school year through the Duke TIP Academic Adventures program at USC.
