LSAT Prep Live Online Course

Prepare for the LSAT with UofSC's comprehensive online course led by a live instructor. Enjoy all the interactivity of traditional classroom learning with one big plus—the comfort and convenience of being able to learn at home or at work.

This class was great - very informative and helpful. I feel much more confident and prepared after taking it!

Learn from Anywhere

Learning in our live, online course is just like being in a classroom without traveling to campus. No matter where you live in or outside of the country, you will have the opportunity to take the course and you will only need access to a computer and the internet. Best of all, it won't require pricey software, new hardware or advanced computer skills.

You'll regularly meet your instructor online in a live interactive classroom setting and have access to office hours in case you have additional questions. The course sessions are recorded so you can review the material from previous sessions.

This affordable and comprehensive course is offered in an easy live online format multiple times per year right before the LSAT test date. The class meets on a regular schedule with each class lasting three to four hours. We recommend signing up to take the LSAT exam when you sign up for our prep class and taking the LSAT exam after the prep class ends.

About the Course

Our expert instructors guide you through each section of the LSAT exam and provide personal attention in and out of the classroom. The easy to follow program uses proven techniques to simplify the LSAT. Our course uses questions from actual LSAT exams, so that you know your preparation is as close to the real thing as possible. This online course includes 30 hours of instruction and covers the same material as our classroom format: Reading Comprehension, Analytical Reasoning, and Logical Reasoning. In addition, you'll also learn useful studying and test-taking strategies to help limit test anxiety.

Course materials including instructions on how to access your account, 2 textbooks: The Official LSAT PrepTests, and a workbook will be shipped to you prior to the first class.

I was surprised by how much I learned.  I feel I am much more prepared than I would have been if I studied on my own.

The Online Experience

It isn't unusual to have questions about online learning. We've answered some of the most common here for you. If you have additional questions or need more information, you can ask an expert.

The live-online course is very similar to the classroom format. We use the same curriculum and materials, and the same proven strategies to help you succeed on the exam. You're able to interact with your instructor in a live setting and participate in the class through the use of online technology.

The live-online class uses software called Adobe Connect. This software allows you to view and hear the instructor, share documents, and interact with the instructor and other students. While the instructor uses a microphone to broadcast voice over Internet protocol (VOIP), students do not need a microphone or camera to participate. Students can simply type questions and answers into a chat box. Some modules also feature quizzes.

Most online classes are asynchronous, meaning they're pre-recorded or prepared in advance. Students work through the classes at their own pace or are provided with a new module to review on their own each week. Live-online classes are led by a live instructor who is there to teach the class and answer questions in real-time; just like in a traditional classroom setting.

All you need to participate in the live-online class is access to high speed internet on a computer with speakers (or headphones).  Our virtual classroom application is Adobe Connect.  We recommend that you run a diagnostic test to ensure Adobe Connect will run smoothly on your computer.  Please use this link to run this diagnostic test on the computer you plan to use for the course.

The live-online class supports interaction with instructors and other students in many ways. You'll be able to ask questions and make comments using the chat feature. In addition, the course will utilize quiz features that allow you to answer questions. You will also have access to your instructor by phone and email, just as you would in a traditional classroom setting.

The live sessions will be recorded and available for streaming. The streaming video will be available shortly after the scheduled meeting date and will be accessible for 30 days after the session.

No. The class includes the same textbook and workbook as the traditional classroom course. A copy of the textbook and workbook will be available for pick up at our office or will be mailed to you about one week before the class begins.
