About Me: After graduating with my Master's in Higher Education in April of 2017, I decided to move here from Michigan to continue my work in Academic Advising. Although I am new to the area, I am excited to explore Columbia and see the rest of South Carolina! In my free time, I enjoy hiking and doing yoga, reading, and playing soccer. I am also passionate about research, good food, and good coffee.

Favorite Quote: "Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Advice to Students: Your time in college affords you many unique opportunities to learn both in and out of the classroom. Take advantage of this time to make the most of these opportunities. Don't be afraid to try something new - to study abroad, get involved, participate in research, or take a class just for fun. Challenge yourself. Embrace your inner nerd. Take this time to truly explore. Take it from me, it'll be over before you know it.
