Sanctioning for any violation of the Student Code of Conduct is assessed on a case-by-case basis. Sanctions for Student Code of Conduct violations range from a written warning to suspension or expulsion. Possible sanctions for violations involving the above behavior may include the following:
- issuance of a no contact order
- campus restrictions (ex. from the victim's residence hall)
- conduct probation
- assessment with a counseling agency
- removal from University Housing
Students who violate protections offered by Title IX may have additional sanctions recommended by the Office of Equal Opportunity Programs.
Additionally, criminal charges may result in repercussions from the courts.
