Carlyle Letters Online

In 2015, the Center became the host and chief developer of the well-known Carlyle Letters Online (CLO), a digital edition of the correspondence of the famous 19th century writers Thomas and Jane Welsh Carlyle.

The project is part of the broader, multi-institutional Victorian Lives and Letters Consortium.

Work on the CLO since 2015 has been supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC).
