OneCarolina Host Oracle Management Training (January 20, 2010)
OneCarolina began the New Year by hosting training for technical staff on Oracle's Identity Management services.
Students were from several departments in University Technology Services, and participated in the weeklong seminar on the Oracle product. Mr. Bradlee Terry of Quilogy, an IT services company based in Sacramento, California, conducted the training at University Technology Services.
Oracle Identity Management can be used to provision resources in Enterprise systems. "It's a central hub that can be used to create and manage accounts for systems like Sungard's Banner product," said Terry. "It's a very powerful tool."
Students progressed through twenty learning modules, alternating between class lectures and hands-on labs during the five day intensive training.
